Overview

The Broadway musical “Chicago,” one of the longest-running and most celebrated shows in theatre history, is making its triumphant return to Japan for a spectacular summer tour. Based on scandalous true events from the roaring 1920s jazz era, this dark, satirical masterpiece tells the captivating tale of Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly—two fierce nightclub performers turned high-profile murderesses competing for media fame and the legal genius of the smooth-talking lawyer, Billy Flynn.

Brimming with dazzling showtunes like “All That Jazz” and defined by the legendary, sultry choreography of Bob Fosse, this production features a prestigious international touring company from the United Kingdom. West End sensation Bradley Jaden—renowned worldwide for his powerful performances in Les Misérables, Wicked, and The Phantom of the Opera—will make his highly anticipated Chicago debut as Billy Flynn, bringing elite theatrical prestige to the Japanese stage.
