The Legend of Arsène Lupin and Nosaka Lab
Nosaka Lab Arsène Lupin has redefined the art of the reading play in Japan. Spearheaded by director and producer Etsuko Nosaka, the project specializes in adapting classical Western mystery literature into immersive, dramatic stage readings performed by renowned voice actors and theatrical talent. Rather than a simple recitation, a Nosaka Lab Arsène Lupin production integrates striking lighting, rich soundscapes, and intense dynamic performances that rival full-scale theatrical plays.
The RECIT NOIR series focuses on the darker, more intricate tales of Maurice Leblanc’s famous creation, Arsène Lupin. In “The Crystal Stopper” (Le Bouchon de cristal), Lupin faces one of the most agonizing trials of his career. What begins as a daring burglary at the home of a corrupt politician devolves into a desperate race against time. With two of his loyal accomplices arrested and facing the guillotine, Lupin must decipher the secret hidden within a seemingly ordinary crystal stopper to save their lives. Its story features betrayal, political intrigue, and unmatched intellect, which makes it an ideal candidate for Nosaka Lab’s evocative narrative style.
Why Experience It Live
Attending a stage reading in Tokyo offers a unique window into contemporary Japanese theatrical culture. Unlike conventional drama, stage readings emphasize vocal nuance, pacing, and emotional resonance. Intense focus charges the atmosphere inside the theater during a Nosaka Lab Arsène Lupin performance, allowing the audience to appreciate the incredible control and versatility of Japan’s elite vocal performers. For international travelers, witnessing this sophisticated fusion of classic French mystery and refined Japanese stagecraft provides a memorable cultural evening in the heart of Tokyo.

Why Book Through Jasumo
Navigating ticket acquisition for Japanese stage productions presents several significant obstacles for overseas visitors:

We secure genuine tickets through our wide network of trusted sources across Japan, including organizers, official platforms, and verified secondary markets when primary allocations sell out.
- Language Barriers: Organizer communications, venue policies, and transactional updates are conducted exclusively in Japanese. Jasumo handles all administrative correspondence with event operators while maintaining clear, prompt updates for you in English.
- Payment Obstacles: Japanese ticketing systems routinely decline international credit cards. Jasumo processes payment through accepted domestic channels while allowing you to complete your transaction smoothly via global payment methods.
We fully authenticate every order as genuine prior to dispatch and deliver it directly to your hotel or Airbnb accommodation in Japan via domestic courier or postal services. A dedicated service fee applies to cover this personal concierge service, which we outline clearly when you contact us.
