Step into the historic world of Japanese sake in Nishinomiya—an area nestled between Kobe and Osaka and known for its pure water and high-quality rice, the essential ingredients for great sake.

This 3-hour guided experience takes you on a curated visit to three of the region’s leading breweries:

  • Hakushika Brewery – Famous for its fragrant and crisp sake that appeals to both beginners and connoisseurs.
  • Hakutaka Brewery – Known for subtle aroma and sharp, clean flavor, showcasing refined brewing techniques.
  • Nihon Sakari Brewery – Offers richly aromatic sake and a heritage dating back to 1889.

You’ll begin your journey at Nishinomiya Jinja (Ebisu Shrine), the spiritual heart of local commerce and sake culture. Then, stroll between the breweries on foot with your local guide, who will share stories, insights, and cultural context along the way.

At each stop, you’ll explore the facilities, learn how sake is made—from rice polishing and fermentation to storage—and enjoy tasting samples that highlight the flavor profile unique to each brewery.
