Full Description

Step into Japan’s scenic heartland on this full-day private tour guided by eXplore Nippon. Your journey begins with a convenient pickup from your Tokyo accommodation before heading out to Mount Fuji’s most iconic and photogenic spots.

First, stop at Arakura Sengen Shrine, home of the five-story Chureito Pagoda. From here, enjoy a postcard-perfect view of Mount Fuji rising behind the traditional pagoda—especially stunning in spring or fall.

Next, take a relaxing walk through Shimoyoshida Honcho Street, known for its retro storefronts and clear sightlines to Fuji. Savor local snacks, browse unique shops, and soak in the small-town charm.

Then, head to the now-famous Lawson convenience store near Kawaguchiko Station. It’s a surprising yet photogenic spot where Mount Fuji looms perfectly in the background.

Break for lunch and photo ops at Lake Kawaguchi, one of the Fuji Five Lakes. On clear days, the mountain’s reflection on the lake creates a surreal mirror image.

Continue to Oshino Hakkai, a picturesque village of eight natural ponds surrounded by thatched-roof houses and greenery. The clear water and rustic setting make for peaceful scenery.

Finally, visit the Mt. Fuji Dream Bridge, a little-known location ideal for panoramic landscape photography. As the sun sets, the view becomes even more magical.

The flexible itinerary allows time for spontaneous stops depending on weather, visibility, or your interests.
