Full Description

This class is designed to teach you how to make sushi confidently so you can recreate it at home after your visit to Japan. It’s a fun and immersive experience that combines cooking with cultural elements—like wearing the traditional Japanese Happi coat during the class.

The course is beginner-friendly, with pre-cut ingredients ready for use. If you’re interested in learning how to cut fish as well, the instructors are happy to accommodate you.

You’ll begin by learning the essentials of sushi—starting with how to prepare perfect vinegared rice (shari or sumeshi), using a special blend of vinegar and freshly cooked rice. Mixing it properly is a key step and an art in itself.

You’ll then make your own sushi using high-quality ingredients, including gourmet toppings like fatty tuna and sweet red shrimp. The experience is inclusive, with options available for vegetarians, vegans, and Muslims.

At the end of the class, you’ll receive a certificate of completion during a brief graduation ceremony—marking your achievement as a new sushi master. Souvenir photos will be taken to capture the moment.
