Faqs

How does the high-magnification zoom lens simplify my photography trip in Japan?

The 18-400mm lens acts as a one-lens solution, covering nearly all focal lengths you’ll need. This means you don’t have to carry multiple lenses, nor do you risk missing a shot by having to stop and change lenses while you are out exploring.

Is the Canon EOS Kiss X9i camera suitable for beginners?

Yes, the Canon EOS Kiss X9i (also known as the 800D) is a popular beginner/intermediate model. It features guided modes and a simple touchscreen interface, making it very user-friendly for anyone transitioning from shooting only with a smartphone.

Absolutely. The camera has built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. You can use the Canon app on your smartphone (available in English) to quickly transfer photos, allowing you to upload your stunning Japan images to social media right away.

Is the camera good for shooting videos and vlogging during my travels?

Yes, the camera captures Full HD (1920×1080) video. Its Dual Pixel CMOS AF system ensures that your video subjects stay in crisp focus even as they move, and the vari-angle screen is perfect for monitoring yourself while vlogging.

Do I need to worry about the lens being too heavy for daily sightseeing?

The TAMRON 18-400mm lens is exceptionally lightweight for a super-telephoto zoom, weighing approximately 710g. Combined with the relatively light Canon body, the total setup is manageable for carrying during a full day of exploring and sightseeing.
