About the Product

The projected capacitive touch technology is highly durable (50 million touches minimum) and sensitive, ensuring reliable and accurate touch input. The non-glare finish on the IPS panel helps reduce reflections from surrounding lights, maintaining visual clarity even when operating the touch screen.

Connectivity is robust for a variety of Windows PCs, offering DVI-D, DisplayPort, and even mini D-Sub 15-pin (VGA) inputs. Although it lacks a native HDMI port, we include a DVI-D to HDMI conversion connector, and all necessary USB cables are supplied for touch functionality. A simple driver installation from the included utility disk is required for touch operation.

Faqs:

Do I need to install any software to use the touch function on this monitor?

Yes, touch operation requires the installation of a specific driver on your Windows PC and a USB connection (A:B cable, which is included) between your PC and the monitor. The necessary driver software is provided on the included EIZO Utility Disk.

What operating systems are compatible with the touch function?

The touch function is compatible with various Windows operating systems, including Windows 10, Windows 8 point 1, and Windows 7 (both 64-bit and 32-bit versions), as well as Windows XP (32-bit). Please note that this monitor is not compatible with Mac for touch functionality.

How does the stand’s tilt adjustment improve the user experience?

The stand can be adjusted continuously from a nearly upright 15 degrees to a wide 70-degree angle. This flexibility is essential for a touch monitor, allowing you to quickly tilt the screen closer and flatter for comfortable drawing, writing, or prolonged touch interactions, and then position it upright for standard viewing.

Since there is no native HDMI port, how can I connect a modern laptop or console?

We provide a DVI-D to HDMI conversion connector along with an HDMI cable. You can use this adapter to connect the HDMI output from your modern laptop or device to the monitor’s DVI-D input, allowing for high-quality digital video transmission.

What is the typical response speed of this monitor, and is it fast enough for interactive use?

The typical response speed is 6ms (mid-tone range). This is a very fast response time for an IPS monitor and is more than adequate for all forms of interactive touch use, video playback, and general computing, providing a smooth and responsive experience without noticeable lag or ghosting.
