Full Description

Begin your journey with a comfortable departure from Nagoya Station. The first stop is Kokeizan Eihoji Temple, a hidden gem surrounded by tranquil nature. Explore the quiet temple grounds, complete with historic architecture and peaceful gardens—an ideal introduction to the cultural heritage of Gifu Prefecture.

Next, ascend to the Enakyo Observatory, where you can take in sweeping views of the Ena Gorge. This natural spectacle, with its winding river and forested mountains, offers a perfect backdrop for photos and reflection.

From there, travel back in time to Magome-juku, one of the preserved post towns along the historic Nakasendo Trail. Walk through streets lined with traditional wooden buildings, enjoy lunch at a local eatery, and browse shops offering crafts and regional delicacies.
