This walking tour invites you to discover the real Osaka on foot, guided by a knowledgeable local. Along the way, learn about the city’s rich history, vibrant neighborhoods, and culinary scene.

Your guide will lead you to five of the most iconic sites in Osaka:

  1. Osaka Castle Museum – Explore this iconic symbol of Osaka, featuring historical exhibitions and a golden tea room.
  2. Dotonbori – One of Osaka’s most colorful and energetic areas, famous for the Glico “Running Man” and neon lights.
  3. Kuromon Ichiba Market – A bustling street market dating back to the Edo period. Enjoy the sights, smells, and flavors of Osaka’s street food.
  4. Shinsekai – A retro district with early 20th-century vibes, quirky shops, and local specialties like kushikatsu.
  5. Shitennoji Temple – One of Japan’s oldest Buddhist temples, and the first ever to be built by the state.
