This 2-hour tour begins with a one-hour guided walk through Gion, one of Kyoto’s most iconic neighborhoods. Your guide will share fascinating insights into the area’s rich cultural history and the legacy of Geisha traditions.
In the second hour, you’ll meet a real Maiko and witness an intimate performance showcasing her skills and elegance. Following the performance, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions about her training, daily life, and career.
To end the experience, you’ll play a traditional Japanese fan game with the Maiko—a fun and interactive moment that makes this experience truly one-of-a-kind. Tour groups are intentionally kept small (up to 6 people) to ensure a personal and meaningful connection with the Maiko and guide.
