Depart Tokyo from Shinjuku or Tokyo Station and travel in a comfortable coach to Hakone—one of Japan’s most iconic natural destinations near Mount Fuji.
Begin your day with a scenic pirate cruise on Lake Ashi, surrounded by lush landscapes and, on clear days, a breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji rising beyond the lake.
Then, ascend via the Hakone Ropeway to Mt. Hakone, where you’ll get a stunning aerial view of the surrounding mountains, forests, and Owakudani Valley—an active volcanic zone created by an eruption over 4,000 years ago.
At Owakudani, walk among the steaming vents and try the legendary Kuro Tamago (black egg), boiled in sulfuric hot springs. Legend has it that eating one adds seven years to your life!
In the afternoon, customize your experience:
- Option 1: Gotemba Premium Outlets – Spend approx. 2 hours exploring one of Japan’s largest and most scenic outlet malls, with direct views of Mount Fuji and top global brands.
