Overview

The Takarazuka Revue’s Flower Troupe (Hanagumi) presents a spectacular double feature broadcasting live from the Takarazuka Grand Theater to cinemas across Japan. The performance begins with “Sogetsusho,” a poignant and apocalyptic historical tale detailing the dramatic rise and fall of the Taira clan. Central to this narrative is the fate of their final commander-in-chief, Taira Tomomori, portrayed with the signature elegance and emotional depth that defines the Flower Troupe’s theatrical style.

Following the historical drama, the energy shifts completely with “EL DESEO,” a vibrant and passionate Latin show. This revue is designed to showcase the troupe’s incredible versatility, featuring high-energy choreography, glittering costumes, and rhythmic musical numbers. The live broadcast allows fans nationwide to experience the “Senshu-raku” (final day performance) of the Grand Theater run with the visual clarity of the big screen, capturing every intricate detail of the performance.

Why Attend

• Experience the emotional “Senshu-raku” final performance of the Flower Troupe live, featuring the culmination of the cast’s hard work and artistic growth.

Faqs

Is a special ticket required for children to attend the live broadcast?

Yes, any child aged three or older requires their own ticket for entry. For children under the age of three, entry is generally only permitted if they can watch while sitting on an adult’s lap, though specific theater policies may vary regarding young children in the cinema.

Will the live broadcast include the entire stage performance?

Yes, the live viewing includes the complete double feature, starting with the historical play “Sogetsusho” and following with the “EL DESEO” Latin revue. It is intended to mimic the full theater experience, including any scheduled intermissions between the two segments of the performance.

How does the ticketing lottery for Takarazuka live viewings work?

Most Takarazuka cinema events utilize a pre-sale lottery system several weeks before the broadcast date. If you miss the lottery period, remaining tickets are typically sold on a first-come, first-served basis through ticketing platforms or at the theater box office if still available.

Are there any differences in content between the various cinema locations?

The broadcast content is identical across all participating theaters nationwide, as it is a single live feed from the Takarazuka Grand Theater. However, the atmosphere may vary slightly depending on the size of the cinema hall and the local fan base in each prefecture.

Can I use Jasumo to secure tickets for specific theaters like TOHO Cinemas Hibiya?

Absolutely, you can specify your preferred theater when submitting your request through our contact form. High-demand central locations like Hibiya or Shinjuku tend to sell out quickly, so we recommend submitting your inquiry as early as possible during the lottery or pre-sale period.
