Faqs:
Is the 8K resolution truly native on the Insta360 X5?
The camera achieves its detailed 8K 360 degree video through supersampling technology derived from an 11K source. This process significantly enhances detail and clarity compared to a standard 8K sensor.
Is a memory card included with the rental?
Yes, a 64 GB SD card is included in the Essential Kit, which is necessary for recording as the camera does not have internal storage. For long shooting periods, especially in 8K, you may consider bringing or renting a higher-capacity card.
Can I use this camera for scuba diving?
The camera body itself is waterproof up to 15 m. However, for deep dives or extended underwater use, a dedicated diving case is usually required, and this case is not available for rental.
How long can I record with the included batteries?
With the two included batteries, you can expect significantly extended shooting time. For example, the maximum continuous recording time for 5.7K@30fps is 135 minutes per battery, allowing for substantial content capture throughout your day.
What does the “invisible selfie stick” mean?
The camera’s software automatically detects and removes the 114 cm selfie stick from the final stitched 360 degree footage. This creates the illusion that the camera is floating or being operated by a drone, perfect for immersive third-person perspectives.
