The Story: Japan’s Elite Classical String Ensemble
Formed in 2014 because of the idea of violinist Yasuhisa Ishida, the Ishida Group (Ishida-gumi) has become one of Japans exciting classical music groups. The group has musicians who’re concertmasters and principal players working in big orchestras in the Tokyo area and all over Japan. This album includes musicians like violinists Tsutomu Yamagishi, Kazunori Sugiyama and Rintaro Omiya plus violists Saki Ishida and Kintaro Hagiya and cellist Toru Hirota.
