Join this guided tour to dive into Japan’s sake culture in one of its most iconic regions—Fushimi. Led by a sake master, you’ll explore breweries, taste a wide variety of sake, and uncover the brewing secrets passed down through generations.
Your journey begins in Kyoto’s Fushimi district, a historic area known for its pure spring water and sake craftsmanship. Along the way, visit multiple breweries like Gekkeikan, Kizakura, and Ginjo Shubo Aburacho—with tastings at each stop. Learn how Kyoto’s unique water and brewing process contribute to the refined flavors of Fushimi sake.
Enjoy a diverse selection of experiences, from tasting 17 kinds of sake to exploring sake museums and sampling sake ice cream at a local café. You’ll also hear about the region’s history, including its connection to the Edo and Meiji periods when sake and rice were shipped from Fushimi to Osaka.
