Arashiyama

Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine

This world-famous shrine is best known for its endless path of vermilion torii gates—forming the iconic Thousand Torii Tunnel. Keep an eye out for the red fox statues along the path, believed to be messengers of the gods representing prosperity and harvest.

Nara Park

Famous for its freely roaming deer and tranquil natural beauty, Nara Park is also home to several ancient temples including Todai-ji. The deer are considered sacred and symbolically represent divine messengers of the Shinto religion.

Kyomachiya “Kyoto Wasabi”
