Full Description
Capture unforgettable memories of your visit to Kyoto by dressing up as a Maiko, Samurai, or Child Maiko/Samurai and participating in a professional family photoshoot. This experience is ideal for a group of up to three family members, with options to include additional participants.
You’ll be guided through a full transformation with hair styling, makeup (including optional white face makeup), and kimono dressing. The photoshoot takes place at Studio Shiki, featuring beautifully traditional Japanese settings such as tea rooms, gold folding screens, and Japanese-style interiors.
After your shoot, you’ll receive a beautifully printed 4-page photo book and a USB containing all the photos taken. You’re also allowed 10 minutes of free time to take personal photos.
Want more? Upgrade with a 30- or 60-minute strolling plan around the area for unique outdoor shots (weather permitting).
Note: Groups with more than 3 participants can add extra members and receive additional photos for a separate fee.
