Pre-Trip Information:
The evening before your tour, between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM (Japan time), you will receive an email with your tour guide’s contact details, vehicle license plate, and meeting time. Please check your inbox (and spam folder) for this important message.

Tour Itinerary:
You will visit six scenic and culturally significant locations:

Hakone Shrine and Lake Ashi Torii Gate
Begin your journey at Hakone Shrine, renowned for prayers relating to traffic safety, love, good fortune, and wish fulfillment. The shrine’s iconic red torii gate, standing in Lake Ashi with Mount Fuji in the background, makes this a perfect photo opportunity and a spiritual starting point.
Hakone Pirate Ship Cruise (Lake Ashi)
Set sail on a themed sightseeing cruise aboard the Hakone Pirate Ship from Moto-Hakone Port. Admire Lake Ashi’s serene waters framed by distant mountains and catch views of Mount Fuji. (Pirate Ship ticket not included; 1,200 yen per person payable on site.)
Hakone Ropeway Ride
Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape from above as you ride the Hakone Ropeway. This aerial journey offers some of the most spectacular views of Mount Fuji and the crater lake below.
Owakudani Volcanic Valley
Visit the famous volcanic valley of Owakudani, where geothermal activity creates dramatic steam vents. Don’t miss tasting the region’s specialty—black eggs boiled in the hot springs, believed to add seven years to your life.
Yamanakako Shiratorihama
Located at Lake Yamanaka, this peaceful lakeside area is home to many swans and offers a tranquil setting to appreciate the harmony of nature. It’s a great place to enjoy quiet scenery away from the hustle of city life.
Oshino Hakkai
End the day at Oshino Hakkai, a traditional village with clear spring water ponds that reflect Mount Fuji. This picturesque destination is also known for its charming food stalls and local delicacies, making it a great place to shop and taste authentic Japanese snacks.

Vehicle Types: Assigned based on group size (Toyota Alphard, Hiace, mini-bus, or large bus)
Group Size & Guide:
- 4–13 passengers: Driver and guide service
- 14–45 passengers: Guide with bus driver
- Explanation is supplementary; main role of the guide is coordination and transport

Policies & Notices

Force Majeure: Tour schedule may change due to traffic, weather, or local events. Refunds are not available for changes due to these conditions.
Punctuality: This is a shared tour. If you are late at the departure point or any stop, the tour will proceed without you. No refunds will be provided.
Tour Duration Limit: For private charters, Japanese law prohibits operation beyond 10 hours.
Tour Confirmation: If you book a two-day combo with Kamakura, note that Mt. Fuji/Hakone activities are scheduled on Day 1 and Kamakura on Day 2 by default. Requests to reverse the days must be submitted in advance via the booking form.
