Your English-speaking guide will begin the tour in Tsumago-juku, leading you through the atmospheric post town. From there, hike the scenic Nakasendo trail at a gentle pace, stopping for waterfalls, wildlife, and panoramic views before reaching Magome-juku. In Magome, explore craft shops, taste local cuisine, and take in the beautifully preserved streetscape.
Note:
Not interested in hiking? A non-hiking version of the tour is available—perfect for families with young children or guests with mobility concerns.
This version also departs from Nagoya Station at 9:30 AM. Your guide will accompany you through Tsumago-juku, giving you insights into life during the Edo era. Afterward, enjoy free time before traveling by vehicle to Magome-juku, where you’ll explore at your own pace.
