The Heart Of Nature Tour includes the top of Wakakusayama, the hidden temple of Kofukuji, Uguisunotaki Waterfall, and the Kasugayama Primeval Forest with its Buddhist statues carved in stone. You also make a brief stop before leaving the city at the very well-known katana and Japanese cooking knife maker, Kikuichi.
The tour provides a unique vision of the Japanese countryside in Nara Prefecture. It includes a lunch break and a light morning snack.
Fitness and stamina are important to enjoy this tour to the fullest, but as it is not a race, everyone is free to go at their own pace. Please note you will be spending about 4 hours in the forest and mountain.
The tour departs at 10:00 A.M. and usually finishes between 15:00 and 16:00.
