Reviews

  • “Accommodating and skilled staff who assisted my 88-year-old grandmother. Ryusou attires are distinct from kimono. Providing the flexibility of both studio and outdoor shoots isn’t widely available, even in Tokyo or Kyoto. A truly fruitful experience.”

Additional Information

  • The studio is a 12-minute walk from Makishi Station, heading toward Makishi Market.
  • If you feel shy about wearing Ryukyu costumes and taking photos on Kokusai-dori street, consider the 15-minute tour, which involves dressing and shooting only inside the store.
  • If you don’t mind attracting attention after changing clothes, the 3-hour experience, including an outdoor walk, is highly recommended.
  • The entrance is easy to find using Google Maps. Once upstairs to the second floor, the studio feels compact but well-equipped. Although the selection of styles and colors is not overwhelmingly large, it’s enough to make choosing fun. The staff can assist with recommendations if you find it hard to decide.
