Overview

The SSMT Special Quartet presents “Super Sound Miracle Team ~A Dream World Woven by Sound~,” a unique musical collaboration that brings together four masters of their respective instruments. This ensemble features Isao Saito on guitar, Kazuya Sato on the shinobue (traditional Japanese flute), Risa Minami on the chromatic harmonica, and Yoshimi Tsujimoto on the shakuhachi. Together, they create a mesmerizing fusion of sounds that bridges the gap between traditional Japanese music, classical compositions, and contemporary popular songs.

Held at the Moriyama Civic Hall Main Hall in Shiga Prefecture, this performance offers a rare opportunity to witness a “miracle team” of virtuosos. The quartet’s repertoire is designed to transport the audience into a dreamlike world through the delicate interplay of string and wind instruments. By blending the ancient resonance of the shakuhachi and shinobue with the versatile tones of the harmonica and guitar, the SSMT Special Quartet delivers a rich, textured auditory experience that celebrates both cultural heritage and modern musical innovation.
