Full Description

Sumo is more than a sport—it’s a spiritual tradition rooted in centuries of Japanese history. This special tour lets you observe rigorous morning training at one of Japan’s most respected sumo stables, Takasago-beya, known for producing six Yokozuna (grand champions) and eight Ozeki (elite wrestlers).

The experience takes place at Ryushoin Temple, where you’ll be welcomed by an English-speaking guide. From a close but respectful distance, observe the wrestlers practicing techniques, demonstrating strength, agility, and discipline honed through years of dedication.

After the training, you’ll have the opportunity to take a commemorative photo with the wrestlers—a rare and memorable souvenir.
