Dive into Japanese culinary culture in this beginner-friendly class where you’ll make and enjoy three types of sushi.

1. Salad Roll (Sushi Roll)

A colorful, healthy sushi roll filled with crab-flavored kamaboko, lettuce, cucumber, tuna mixed with mayonnaise, and tamagoyaki (rolled omelet), all wrapped in nori seaweed.

2. Nigiri

One of Japan’s most famous and traditional sushi styles. You’ll learn to shape vinegared rice and top it with ingredients like fish, shellfish, or omelet.

3. Oshizushi (Pressed Sushi)

A specialty of Osaka and the Kansai region. This square-shaped “box sushi” is made by pressing sushi rice and toppings in a wooden mold, then slicing it just before eating.
