Join a friendly Japanese sushi chef for an immersive sushi-making experience in Kyoto. Every morning, fresh fish is sourced directly from the Kyoto Central Wholesale Market, ensuring top quality for your class.
The session begins with a fun warm-up using sushi sample toys, allowing you to practice hand movements before handling real ingredients. Once you’re ready, the chef will guide you step by step in making Nigiri Sushi and Sushi Rolls using traditional tools and techniques.
After preparing your sushi, you’ll decorate it beautifully on a traditional plate and enjoy it as your lunch, accompanied by Dashi soup, tea, or water. Throughout the class, staff will take photos and videos, which will be shared with you afterward.
This workshop is designed for all skill levels and ages—children and adults alike will find it both fun and educational.
