Full Description

Start your journey by meeting your guide at Shijō-mae Station and heading straight to Toyosu Market, the largest fish market in the world and home to over 500 professional seafood buyers. This market is not normally open to tourists, offering a rare behind-the-scenes look into Japan’s top-tier seafood trade.

After the market experience, travel to the Tsukiji Outer Market, where you’ll enjoy sightseeing and have time for shopping in a lively atmosphere filled with local food stalls and traditional vendors.

Then, head to Azabujuban for a special sushi-making session. A skilled sushi chef will demonstrate the expert-level process of cutting a massive tuna block into precise portions—an art typically reserved for only the most experienced professionals.

You’ll use the freshly portioned tuna to create your own sushi under the chef’s guidance. Learn proper techniques and gain appreciation for each step of the sushi preparation process. Finally, sit down and enjoy the tuna you’ve helped prepare, served in a variety of ways.
