The first part of the concert is about Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. It starts with the elegant Piano Sonata No. 16 In C major K. 545. Then it moves to the stormy feeling of the “Fantasia” in C minor K. 475. It ends with the energy of the Piano Sonata No. 14 In C minor K. 457.

The second part of the concert is about the great works of Frédéric Chopin. Kharitonov will show his sense of phrasing and sharp precision with famous pieces, like the Ballade No. 1 In G minor Op. 23. He will also play the difficult “Andante Spianato and Grande Polonaise Brillante” in E-flat major, Op. 22. The concert ends with a group of Chopins famous dance pieces. These include the Polonaise No. 1 In C-sharp minor Op. 26-1 The sad Polonaise No. 2 In E-flat minor Op. 26-. The strong powerful Polonaise No. 6 In A-flat major “Heroic” Op. 53.
