Seiji Ozawa was a respected figure in Japanese music. He built a bridge between orchestras and Japanese musical culture. Three years after Seiji Ozawa died, this tribute concert gathered graduates from the Ozawa International Chamber Music Academy Okushiga the Seiji Ozawa Swiss International Academy and the Seiji Ozawa Music Academy Orchestra.
