FAQs

How do I operate the EOS R5 for beginners?

The EOS R5 offers an intuitive interface with scene modes, making it easy for beginners to start shooting immediately. Even if you are new to professional cameras, the auto settings and guided menus help you capture high-quality photos and videos without extensive prior experience.

Can I shoot 8K video with the included memory card?

The included 64GB SDXC card supports standard 4K and Full HD recording. For 8K RAW or high-bitrate video, a CFexpress card is required. Renting the CFexpress card separately ensures smooth, uninterrupted high-resolution video capture.

Does it detect animals automatically?

Yes, the EOS R5 uses EOS iTR AF X with deep learning to detect dogs, cats, and birds. However, detection may vary depending on the environment and subject, so some animals may not be detected, and other small animals could occasionally be recognized incorrectly.

Can I rent lenses with this camera?

Lenses are not included with this rental, but you can rent compatible RF lenses separately. This flexibility allows you to choose the best lens for your shooting style, whether you want wide landscapes, detailed portraits, or low-light photography.

Is it safe to use in humid or hot weather?

The EOS R5 is designed to operate in temperatures from 0°C to 40°C with up to 85% humidity. While it is safe for typical tourist use, prolonged exposure to extreme heat may trigger automatic shutdown to protect the sensor and internal components.
