Step into the world of Kyudo, the traditional Japanese art of archery, under the guidance of an instructor with over 50 years of practice and a 6th-grade Kyoshi teaching certification.
This beginner-friendly workshop covers the fundamentals: posture, aiming techniques, breathing, and respect for the bow and target. You’ll also explore the cultural and spiritual aspects of Kyudo, which emphasizes calm focus and discipline over hitting the bullseye.
Although the instructor may not speak fluent English, detailed printed materials and visual instruction ensure a smooth and enjoyable learning experience. The passion and dedication of your teacher will shine through, and you’ll quickly bond over shared focus and movement.
