We booked a full-day tour with our local guide Kaori, and we loved the experience! She was well prepared and had already discussed our preferred itinerary beforehand. The pacing was perfect — we saw so much without rushing. We especially loved Kinkakuji, Arashiyama, and Fushimi Inari Shrine.
Kenji was great. He took us to the places we wanted to visit and provided interesting historical context at each location.
We had a wonderful tour with Akiko. She spoke excellent English and was very friendly. She took us to the main highlights of Kyoto and explained everything in detail. The pace was relaxed, which we appreciated. Gion and the Golden Pavilion were highlights. Highly recommended!
