A True Taste of Japanese Daily Life

More than just a cooking class, this experience offers a warm invitation into Japanese home life. Located in Shinjuku, one of Tokyo’s most vibrant areas, the experience takes place in a local chef’s small, charming apartment—a space designed for comfort, learning, and cultural exchange.

You’ll begin with an introduction to Japanese seasonal ingredients and their cultural significance. Then, guided step by step by your host, you’ll cook 2–4 dishes based on the day’s menu. You’ll not only learn how to prepare each dish but also why certain ingredients and cooking styles are essential to Japanese tradition.
