Next, travel to Jozankei, a charming hot spring village within Shikotsu-Toya National Park. Known for its geothermal landscapes shaped by volcanic activity, Jozankei is home to scenic viewpoints, shrines, parks, and flowing hot springs.

Your guide will lead you on a leisurely walking tour through:

  • Jozankei Shrine and Temple
  • Gesen Park and its relaxing footbath
  • Futami Park and the Futami Tsuribashi Suspension Bridge

Reviews

Scott was an awesome tour guide and the smaller number of people on the tour made for a more personalized trip. He was a great conversationalist and it was interesting to discuss daily life in Japan along with the tour itself. The onsen was the icing on the cake to end a physically great day.

My travel guide was actually my neighbor in the US, which was quite a coincidence. We had dinner together and talked a lot.
