Next, head into the bustling Tsukiji Outer Market, a lively and colorful area that still retains the charm and energy of the former wholesale market, which was relocated to Toyosu. Here, you’ll see firsthand where Tokyo’s top sushi chefs continue to shop for the freshest seafood, and experience the dynamic interplay of vendors, shoppers, and chefs.
Stroll through narrow market lanes, sample fresh oysters, grilled scallops, tamagoyaki (Japanese omelet), tuna skewers, and other seasonal specialties. Your guide will introduce you to local vendors and help you choose the best bites according to your taste and preferences.
