Located in the heart of Osaka, the Kamigata Ukiyo-e Museum offers a rare opportunity to engage directly with Japan’s centuries-old woodblock printing tradition. Under the guidance of expert instructors, you’ll learn how Ukiyo-e prints are created—from layering colors to applying the right pressure using traditional tools.

Using high-quality Japanese washi paper and the museum’s authentic woodblocks, you’ll print a multicolored Ukiyo-e design. Whether you’re a beginner or an art enthusiast, the course is tailored to all skill levels. Choose from three tiers:

  • Beginner Course: Learn the basics of multi-color printing
  • Intermediate Course: Add layering and precision alignment
  • Advanced Course: Explore more detailed carving and color layering techniques

Once complete, your final print will be placed in a protective, museum-style clear file—ready to take home as a keepsake.
