FAQs:

Is the RF 16mm f/2.8 sharp in the corners?

Center is excellent wide open; corners improve dramatically by f/5.6–f/8 — perfect for landscapes and vlogging.

How close can I really focus?

Only 13 cm from the sensor (≈5 cm working distance) — great for dramatic food, flowers, and “big nose” selfies.

Does it have image stabilization?

No optical IS in the lens, but it works beautifully with IBIS bodies (R5, R6, R8, R7 etc.) for smooth handheld video.

Will it work on APS-C cameras (R50/R10/R7)?

Yes — becomes a ~25.6 mm wide-angle, still super useful and pocketable.

Can I attach 43 mm filters?

Yes — a premium protective filter is already mounted, and ND/polarizers screw on easily.
